The aim of the NRP 84 Dialogue Day is to bring together a diverse group of participants, including researchers, political representatives, businesses and members of the public with an interest in plant breeding. The event strongly emphasizes fostering meaningful exchange and collaboration through panels, discussions and interactive workshops. Experienced external moderators will lead the workshops, which are designed to encourage participants to consider different perspectives.
The goal of the Dialogue Day is to move beyond superficial conversations, allowing for a more nuanced understanding of both the opportunities and challenges that come with new plant breeding technologies. The event aims to promote an open dialogue among stakeholders from the fields of research, society, administration and politics, encouraging discussion about the issues and opportunities surrounding these technologies.
