Webinar with Michael A. Kock

The next guest in the NFP 84 webinar series will be Dr. Michael A. Kock, a Swiss and European patent attorney.

Michael Kock brings more than 25 years of international experience in intellectual property, innovation and licensing. He focuses on developing and implementing intellectual property strategies that enable innovation and create broader societal value, primarily for SME and start-ups. He is particularly interested in new approaches that move beyond traditional models of exclusivity towards openness, benefit sharing and sustainable innovation. In the webinar, he will share his perspectives on the role of intelectual property and licensing in emerging technologies, with particular attention to innovation in agriculture and food security.

With a background spanning both law and the natural sciences, Michael Kock combines scientific expertise with extensive experience in intellectual property strategy. He is a Swiss Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney and holds doctorates in law and the natural sciences. He is also an author and experienced speaker on intellectual property, licensing models, biodiversity and innovation and has advised industry associations and international organisations.
