Michael Antoniou, professor of molecular genetics at King’s College London (KCL), is the next guest in the NFP 84 webinar series
Professor Antoniou brings over 40 years of experience in molecular genetics, gene therapy and molecular toxicology. As the leader of the Gene Expression & Therapy Group, he has made important contributions to the development of gene therapies and the study of pesticide toxicology. He will share his insights on the safety of GMOs and the potential impacts of gene-edited organisms on human health.
With a background as a post-doctoral research fellow at the National Institute for Medical Research and the University of Nebraska, Professor Antoniou holds a PhD in the molecular biology from the University of Reading and a BA in biochemistry from the University of Oxford.
